The Lunar Circle

If you have ever felt the pull of the full moon or noticed that something in you wants to begin again when the sky goes dark at the new moon, you are already in relationship with the lunar cycle. You may not have had language for it, or a place to bring it. That is what The Lunar Circle is for.

The moon moves through a complete cycle every twenty-nine days, and within that cycle there are two moments that call for gathering. The new moon is the threshold of beginning ~ a quiet, fertile darkness where we plant intention and listen for what is ready to emerge. The full moon is the moment of fullness and illumination ~ when what has been growing comes into the light, and what no longer serves is ready to be released. Together, these two points form the heartbeat of the month.

The Lunar Circle at Alchemia meets twice each month to honor both.

• Each gathering opens with refreshments and a grounding practice to help you arrive fully present. 
• We open the circle formally, calling in the highest and best for our time together.
• We move into a lunar update that places the current sky in context, including the sign, the season, and what energies are most alive.
• From there we move through a guided moon meditation, a journaling practice to anchor what arose, and an herbal astrology card pull connecting the current lunar themes to the wisdom of plant and planet.
• The sharing circle opens the floor to every voice in the room, in person and virtual alike.
• We close with a movement practice to bring the energy through the body.
• We close the circle and part with intention.

You do not need prior knowledge of astrology or any existing spiritual practice to belong here. You need only your curiosity, your honesty, and your willingness to show up.

Membership is $30 per month and includes both the New Moon Circle and the Full Moon Circle.

In person attendance is held at Alchemia Holistic Wellness in Asheboro, NC. Virtual attendance is always available for those joining from a distance. Recordings are provided if you miss a gathering; but the share circle portion is not recorded.
